Bishop Dr. Cammie B. Jeffress is a native of Alexandria, Virginia.  She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour on November 11, 1974, at Saint Paul Pentecostal Church, Inc., under the Leadership of her aunt, the Late Overseer Harriette E. Wood.  She was called into the Ministry in September 1981 and later called by the Lord to Pastor in December 1991, where she became the Founder and Pastor of the Praise and Deliverance Ministries, Dumfries, Virginia.  She is affiliated with the Fellowship of Christ International, and the Full Gospel of Christ Fellowship, Inc.   Currently, she is working in the field, wherever God leads.  “. . . I will be with thee; I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”  Joshua 1:5.

 

From September 1993 to April 1996, Dr. Jeffress established and became the CEO of the Praise and Deliverance Bible Institute.  In April 1996, the Institute was renamed the H. E. Wood Bible Institute and received its accreditation from the Full Gospel of Christ Fellowship, Inc., World-Wide Accreditation Commission of Christian Educational Institutions (W.W.A.C.C.E.I.) in Richmond, Virginia, and in 2012 awarded the World Council of Postsecondary and Religious Education, (W.C.P.R.E.),  Columbia, South Carolina.  International Field Recruiters have been established in Nairobi, Kenya (Soweto); Ifo, Ogun State, Lagos State, Itori State, Borno, Nigeria; Accra, Ghana; Ouagadougou Burkina Faso, West Africa, Russia, and in the United States - Goldsboro, North Carolina.  

 

Dr. Jeffress serves as a Dean and Field Representative for the Spirit of Truth Institute and the Liaison Representative for the Institute of Christian Works Bible College and Seminary.  

 

On August 17, 2013, Dr. Jeffress was appointed as Bishop within the Fellowship of Christ International.  Bishop Dr. Cammie B. Jeffress will also be serving as the Bishop of Education in the Virginia Conference.
  
Dr. Jeffress is an affiliated member and an Advance Teacher for the Evangelical Training Association (ETA/CEU), Advanced High Standards of Church Ministries Program, Wheaton, Illinois.  She is a graduate of the Evangelical Training Association (ETA/CEU); United Christian Bible Institute; the Spirit of Truth Institute, and the Institute of Christian Works Bible College and Seminary. 

Dr. Jeffress is a Commonwealth of Virginia Notary Public, Appointee by His Excellency of the Governor, State of Virginia.   She is the author of Victorious Living:  How to Live a Victorious Life.

 

Dr. Jeffress has a Doctor of Christian Philosophy in Divinity, Institute for Christian Works Bible College and Seminary; Doctor of Church Administration; Doctor of Christian Education; Master of Divinity; Bachelor of Christian Education, Spirit of Truth Institute; and Bachelor of Bible Knowledge, United Christian Bible Institute.
